How to export a virtual machine to Open Virtualization Format (OVF)?

You can export a virtual machine to Open Virtualization Format (OVF). You can also import the OVF file to VMware Workstation or VMware vSphere.

OVF is an open packaging and distribution format. In order to export a virtual machine (VM), there are some prerequisites.

- A VM must be turned off.
- A VM must be not encrypted.
